This is a magnificent mid-century modern wall unit/room divider from the 1960s. The wall unit exhibits a strong Danish influence and is made from a mix of solid walnut and walnut veneer. The unit features a unique, asymmetrical design with different-sized cubbies along the top section: perfect for holding vases, books and other decorative or media items. The bottom left side has two blind doors with carved walnut handles and a spacious interior for storage. The right side has a fall-front secretary desk with a carved walnut handle which could also have been used as a bar/liquor cabinet. There’s a small shelf below the desk portion followed by two medium-sized drawers near the bottom with carved walnut handles. The unit has a heavy walnut header along the bottom. It measures 60″ long x 16.25″ wide x 64.25″ tall and is in excellent condition. The back of the unit is finished in gorgeous walnut veneer, allowing it to double as a room divider.
