This is a remarkably rare buffet cabinet from Heywood-Wakefield’s ‘Airflow’ series. Designed by Leo Jiranek and manufactured between 1937-1939, the cabinet was marvelously modern for its time and pairs well with mid-century décor. The cabinet is constructed from solid maple in the popular ‘wheat rub’ finish. Beveled edges, dual cabinets and two drawers offer functionality. Original solid maple pulls remain intact. The cabinet measures 48” wide / 18” deep / 35” tall. It has been professionally restored.
