This is a phenomenal mid-century modern wall unit/room divider from the 1960s. The piece is made from a wood base overlaid with amber-hued teak veneer. The piece is finished on both sides; a rare design feature which makes it a true room divider. The divider has a large, open and highly functional design. There is a sculpted teak header along the top with three medium-sized cubbies for displaying books, DVDs and other decorative or media items. The second tier has a very long cubby on the left side for oblong items with a smaller cubby on the right. The third tier has a shelved section at the top, ideal for holding books, with a very large opening at the bottom for a lamp, art or other items. The right side has a drop-front compartment which functions well as a desk or liquor cabinet. The bottom section has two blind doors on the left side which open to reveal a spacious, shelved interior. The right side has open shelving on the top with two medium-sized drawers on the bottom. All drawers and doors retain their carved teak pulls. The piece measures 60” long x 15” wide x 70” tall and is in absolutely perfect condition. This outstanding Danish teak room divider is an exceptional find; its modern design and multi-functional layout will make it a standout piece in any room of your home.
