Mid-Century Modern Drexel Counterpoint Credenza

This is a vibrant mid-century modern credenza from Drexel’s Counterpoint collection, designed in 1957 by John Van Koert.  The case is fashioned from wild-grained cherry with contrasting supports and legs in ripe mahogany. The front is fitted with six drawers and two blind doors, each accentuated with round mahogany medallions and solid brass knobs.  The credenza measures 60” wide / 20” deep / 30” tall. It has been professionally refinished.
